How Can Hands Show Pain/Anguish?

Artist Statement

My guiding question that I thought about while creating these photos was, "How can hands show pain/anguish?" During some point in our lives, we go through some rough times (especially during this pandemic). When going through these hard times, our hands are able to express what had happened before and during these hardships. Through my photos, I aimed to show the aftermath of pain and also while it is going on. I hope to open one's eye to the communication of hands.
